After such a long time of not posting, my photography has gone a little downhill. It was hard to photograph these little ceramic birds. I have made them for Christmas presents - a touch of blue and green and a rubbing of gold dust. I have heard other bloggers say the same, but after making presents and decorations I feel no desire to buy anything - no tinsel, no nothing. It's a nice feeling.

Nice one! What clay did you use? Did you use a kiln? Hope mine doesn't break in the mail!! Hee hee hee :-)

Yes, used a kiln and BRT earthernware clay. I am lucky to be at a school where all the kids at the moment are using clay. My little birds can be insterted into the small spaces of the kiln. Email me your address and I will post you a bird x
